I need to find information about the requirements of the ash-frenne

for use in aviation , I need to make selection of this wood for wings blocks etc.

grain requirements etc.......

I think that the only requirements about the ash (frène) is that the wood must be of good quality: no knots and rather straight grain and used as called for in the plans (thickness, grain directions and dimensions).
